Confederation Education Centre Nepean (used to be Confederation High School) at 1645 Woodroffe Ave. (corner of Woodroffe Ave. & Huntclub Rd).

Come out and support your school!  Make the time! A tournament is where you will learn discipline, camaraderie, and above all sportsmanship. It takes courage to compete, and each of you has it. You can compete in patterns alone or sparring alone, or both. You will learn and grow immeasurably from being there. Parents a tournament is a big step for your child, encourage them to participate and do their best. 

Volunteers needed
If you are able to volunteer, we need students, parents and volunteers to assist with: the concession stand, seeing that spectators and competitors are directed to the proper area, working the stop watches at the sparring arena, and assisting in recording the winner’s names after a match. 

Black belts ages 16 and up will be required to judge.

Should you be able to assist please email Jenny (office coordinator) and myself Ms. Trigger to let us know your availability from there we will let you know where you may help out.

Team Jackets and Pants
Jenny Hulme (triggerstaekwondo@gmail.com) has been putting together our Team Jacket and pants for the school. 

Please put your name down on the list if you are interested in one - you may mix and match sizes or just purchase a jacket alone. Exact cost will be given out soon but is approximately between $50 to $60 for the jacket and $25 to $30 for the pants. You may try sizing at the school. Should you like to have your name on the left arm the cost will be an additional $7. When the company gives us the exact cost then we will advise everyone of the cost. Design will be sent out by the beginning of next week.

Be sure to try on the samples for your sizing as your jacket and/or pants will be made to order, so if your size is wrong, there is nothing we will be able to do about it!

School Closed
On Saturday February 7, 2009 the school will be closed for the tournament.
