4th ANNUAL BLACKBURN ITF CHALLENGE

Date: Saturday, November 15, 2008

Location: Ashbury College -362 Mariposa Street, Ottawa, ON, K1M 0T3

Competition is a great learning tool and a great experience.  This tournament is for students of all ages and levels.  White belts must know one of their patterns and must have attended classes for a minimum of 6 weeks.

Black belt judges are required, 15 years and older.  Required dress:  white dress shirt, navy tie, navy or black pants. If interested, contact Ms Trigger.

ANNUAL FAMILY FUN DAY AND PICNIC

Master Pierre Laquerre Seminar - School of Blackburn Taekwon-Do
Saturday May 3, 2008

Master Pierre Laquerre VII Degree Black Belt will be giving a Seminar at the School of Blackburn Taekwon-Do on Saturday May 3. This is for yellow belts and up,  recommended for ages 10 and up. 

This is a great opportunity as we do not have a Master coming locally to do Seminars often. 
See details and bring in form to Ms. Trigger no later than Thursday evening. 
Any students who attend will be credited with 6 hours of class time.

Trigger's In-School Fundraising Tournament
 Sunday afternoon April 27, 2008

Trigger's Taekwon-Do is having a fundraising tournament for color belts (white to black stripe).
This is a great way for the students to have fun and further their skills in this small competition without having to sacrifice an entire day to do so.

Weather permitting we will be having a BBQ.

Having sparring equipment is mandatory at yellow belt level and above. This if for the protection of the student's safety and the safety of others. Should you not have sparring equipment please make arrangements to get some.  Read more about the sale.

4th Can-Am Taekwon-Do Tournament 
Trois-Rivières - University of Quebec
Saturday April 19, 2008

Trigger's Taekwon-Do will be participating at the 4th Can-Am Taekwon-Do Tournament. Should you like to compete, advise Ms. Trigger right away and:

1.  Please read the information from Me. Pierre Laquerre, Tournament director. 
2.  Complete and hand in this Registration Form to Trigger’s Taekwon-Do no later than April 4th, 2008.

  • Cost of tournament is $50
  • Checks must be labeled to "Taekwon-do Mauricie"
  • The school will be making arrangements for Transportation or bring your own transportation.  We will leave on Friday and return on Sunday - final arrangements will be made when we know who is going.
  • Some rooms have been pre-booked
  • Younger children will need a parent to come along
